Raspberry Moment in March

It may be one of the most rainy and miserable weekends in London but that didn’t stop me from wanting to eat ice cream when I saw raspberry ice cream by Ingman, a swedish dairy brand, in Waitrose frozen selection.

Raspberry ice cream with real raspberries was enough to bring me back to the hot summer days I would spend as a child in my childhood home picking raspberries and enjoying them in the afternoon sun on the terrace with my sisters. Bliss! Today, even enjoyed on my own from a vintage Finnish glass bowl with coffee from a Moomin mug was very special. It is the little moments that make weekends great although my day is just about to get even better as I’ll be spending the evening with my Finnish girlfriends in Fulham.

Finding Swedish raspberry ice cream by Ingman at Waitrose frozen selection was a surprise find. It is so easy to make me happy.

  1. Ha, I love your Moomin mug!!! This looks delish, my tummy is rumbling…think it might be time for lunch! Hope you had fun in Fulham!xx

  2. I have subsequently found out that Ocado also sells this ice cream but that’s not all. They actually have a Scandinavia section which stocks everything from crispbread to Ekstroms blueberry soup to Finnish Fazer sweets. I’m a very happy girl now, ha!
