What is Nordic Odyssey Blog?

Nordic Odyssey is a collection of travel stories, hotel reviews, destination guides, London tips and anecdotes about Scandinavian lifestyle.

It is made for people who enjoy foreign culturesgood food, unique hotels, fitness, arts and culture. It is for anyone who wants to get under the skin of Northern European mentality. Or simply for anyone looking for inspiration for things to do in London outside the traditional London Top 10.

Who is the Finnish girl behind the Blog?

Nordic Odyssey is edited by Kristiina, a thirty-something Finnish girl living in London. During the day Kristiina works with numbers and spreadsheets in one of the world’s biggest online travel companies. During the evenings and weekends she loves to do, plan and dream about more travel.

She adores fashion, arts and culture but balances it with a good amount of fitness. Although she has lived away from Finland for 12 years, she still remains very true to her Nordic heritage.

  1. Just came across your blog- being from London yet living having lived Finland – I have really enjoyed the cultural view point! Fantastic!

    • Thank you very much for visiting my blog and leaving your nice comment. I’m glad you are enjoying the cultural viewpoint. It’d be interesting to hear your thoughts on Finland too and how you found it from Londoner’s point of view. Please stop by for future posts!
